HOWEVER, QUADMASTERS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, THAT OMPLIANCE
WITH GUIDELINES & REGULATIONS PUBLISHED IN THIS GUIDELINE OR PUBLISHED DURING THE YEAR(S) AS UPDATES OR REVISIONS WILL PREVENT OR GUARANTEE AGAINST INJURY OR DEATH TO SPECTATORS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY.

THESE GUIDELINES & REGULATIONS CONSTITUTE THE MINUMUM ACCEPTABLE
STANDARDS FOR QUADMASTERS COMPETITION AND ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE SPORT. SAFETY IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EQUIPTMENT MANUFACTURERS, VEHICLE BUILDERS AND THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS. MOTORSPORTS IS A HIGH RISK ACTIVITY.

Definitions:

Event: Weekend event consisting of 1, 2, or 3 days.

Round: Completion of the course by each registered entrant.

Class: Breakdown by cc's and/or ages.

Course: Consists of 8-10 challenges.

Challenge: An individual skill test or task within the course.

Time: Typically 1 minute per individual challenge.

Penalty: A (5) second addition to the competitor's final time for each infraction.

Event Challenge Winner: Individual that has the best time for a particular challenge, 1 winner per class.

National Challenge Winner: Individual that has the highest accumulated points for a particular challenge at the end of the season, 1 winner per class.

Overall Event Winner: Individual that has the best overall time of all combined challenges for each event, 1 winner per class.

National Overall Winner: Individual that has the highest accumulated points at the end of the season, 1 winner per class.

QuadMaster's Participant: A registered member who urges to take on the Ultimate ATV Challenge course for bragging rights.

Stock: (1) Mass production unit commerically available which cannot have any aftermarket or performance motor improving enhancements. (2) Stock units are allowed to exchange or substitute: Tires, rims, exhaust, throttle and brake controls, handlebars, and handlebar mounts.

Chest Protector: Body protection commercially available.

Helmet: Must be DOT or Snell M2000 approved with functional chin strap.

Foot Wear: Closed toe, closed heal, and must cover the ankle.

Event Director: The official in charge of overseeing the entire event and who makes the final decision on all items of dispute or infraction. This person's decision is final.

Hazerdous Nature of ATV Riding:
It is understood that ATV Riding exhibitions and competitions, by their very nature, is a hazardous activity and can result in serious injury and/or death. Usage of these guidelines & regulations does not guarantee the well being of the participant. Participation in this type of activity is at the participant' s own risk.

Entry Application and General Use:
The following nomenclature, definitions, and abbreviations shall be used in QuadMasters guidelines & regulations as well as supplementary guidelines and regulations:

  1. QUADMASTERS: The sanctioning body.
  2. PARTICIPANT: The rider, owner, crew or family member, or any other individuals associated with a participating ATV. All participants must have proper credentials. (See below)
  3. COMPETITOR: A person named to compete in an exhibition or contest as a rider.
  4. RIDER OF RECORD: The person named to be the operator of an ATV entered in an event. The Rider of Record is the only person allowed to ride the ATV unless an official change has been registered in accordance with all applicable QuadMasters regulations.
  5. SENIOR COMPETITOR / MINOR COMPETITOR: Senior competitor must be (18) years of age.

Participant Responsibility:
It is the responsibility of the participant(s) to familiarize him/herself with applicable guidelines and regulations prior to competing in any QuadMasters sanctioned event.

Each participant expressly agrees that the act of entering a QuadMasters sanctioned event shall constitute an agreement by him/her to be bound by all of the guidelines and regulations covering this event. The participant agrees to be bound by all decisions made by the Event Director or his/her designee.

Each participant will agree to sign a release and waiver of liability and agrees not to bring any action against Quadmasters, its employees, agents, contractors, and subcontractors, the facility, event sponsors and all other event officials for any loss or damage caused by decision, erroneous or otherwise, or decision based on malfunctioning electronic or mechanical equipment, whether due to negligence or otherwise. In entering an event, the participant agrees not to bring action against the Event Director, his designees or other event officials during the event, whether such action constitutes negligence or otherwise. The participant shall be defined to include any person directly or indirectly associated with any vehicle lawfully on premises for the purpose of competition, including, but not limited to riders, owners and crewmembers.

All participants are required to have acceptable photo identification, i.e. a valid driver's license or passport. The QUADMASTERS reserves the right to determine whether a participant has the ability to compete in a QUADMASTERS Event. Participants must also comply with the requirements specified by the QUADMASTERS Event Director or staff.

In some instances, a participant may compete under the age of 18. Laws of the State in which the event takes place may take precedence. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the minor release form at the event. If a parent or legal guardian of the minor will not be present at the event to sign the proper forms, parental agreement forms may be requested prior to the event from the QUADMASTERS. Parental agreement forms need to be signed by a parent or legal guardian and witnessed by a notary public.

All persons on premise are required to register with the event registrar. Participants must properly complete and sign all required registration forms including all release and waiver of liability agreements in order to be
on site and participate in the event.

Each participant shall enter into the current standard QUADMASTERS Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement.

The QUADMASTERS will issue event credentials/wristbands to each individual depending on their role in the event, which may allow them in designated areas. The QUADMASTERS reserves the right to change at any time the credential allotment standard and the designated areas for participants. All participants are responsible for keeping that credential/wristband on them at all times. No person shall sign the release form for anyone other than himself/herself.

Only participants who meet all QUADMASTERS standards, have completed registration, and have signed all required releases, are eligible to participate in an event.

The QUADMASTERS reserves the right to impound any participating ATV or other vehicle at our discretion.

Requests for Non-Compliance:
Any request for request for relief from the provisions of these guidelines at an event shall be addressed to the QUADMASTERS Event Manager. Any requests made outside an event shall be made in writing and addressed as follows:

QUADMASTERS shall evaluate the request and either make the decision irectly or delegate the decision to the appropriate person. In ruling such requests, QUADMASTERS shall evaluate the timeliness of the requests, and competitive safety considerations. QUADMASTERS ruling on such requests shall be final.

Event Regulations:

1. ATV Safety:

A. Any ATV being used in exhibition or competition must have 2 different points of shut off that are functional and operational that will terminate the ignition; I.E. ignition switch and kill switch. Both shut offs must be accessible from the outside of the unit.

B. ATV must be operated in a safe manner at all times, following a speed limit of 5 M.P.H when ATV' s are not performing. QUADMASTERS reserves the right to disqualify any rider not operating his/her vehicle accordingly.

C. Only one participant will be allowed in/on an ATV when it is being moved and/or driven.

D. There will be no off course riding permitted other than in designated warm-up and pit areas. Riders are not permitted in/on ATV in the pits, on the track or in adjacent areas with out permission or outside of the scheduled practice or competition times.

E. Loose objects will not be permitted in/on ATV. Any object either thrown or dropped from an ATV could result in disqualification of that run.

F. There shall be no sharp or protruding edges on a competition ATV.

G. ATV must be clean and tidy in appearance and mechanically sound prior to any riding on a QUADMASTERS course.

H. QUADMASTERS reserves the right to request offensive or derogatory decals to be removed from a competition ATV.

2. Participant Safety:

A. All participants must be on the ATV and be in complete control of the ATV at all times while the ATV is running in any pit or public area. All participants may be subject to a check of his/her driving ability at any time.

B. All participants are required to wear an approved protective helmet (minimum Snell M2000/DOT 218) during competition. QUADMASTERS recommends full-face helmets along with a chest protector and proper footwear when operating a ATV on the course.

C. Participant eye protection is required during all events/challenges. Safety goggles or shields that are approved for motor sports competition will suffice.

D. Intoxicating agents are strictly forbidden and any participant caught with or under the influence of a prohibited substance, will be disqualified for the duration of the event and will forfeit fees, winnings, and points from the event. The offender may also be suspended from future QUADMASTERS events for a period of time to be determined by QUADMASTERS.

3. Participant Responsibilities:

A. Any participant scheduled to appear at an event who has not arrived at the facility by the time registration has closed, due to conditions beyond his/her control, may be placed in the last starting position, at the discretion of QUADMASTERS.

B. Only participants who meet all QUADMASTERS standards, have completed registration and have signed all required releases are eligible to participate.

C. QUADMASTERS is dedicated to the highest standards of safety and sportsmanlike conduct. All participants are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. No one falling under the jurisdiction of any event official at any event, shall subject said officials to improper language, threats, assault or other demeaning actions. Any person who takes part in unauthorized activity in the pits, on the course surrounding area, before, during, or after and event shall be subject to expulsion from the event(s). The offender may also be suspended from future QUADMASTERS events for a period of time to be determined by QUADMASTERS.

D. The participant assumes complete responsibility for his/her crew members at all times. QUADMASTERS reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any family or crew member at any time.

E. Only QUADMASTERS staff and track crew personnel will be permitted in any/all areas during an event. Participants are to remain in the performance Pit Area during an event. Before a competitor can perform, the performance area and performance Pit Area must be cleared of all spectators and participants.

F. All participants must be present at the riders meeting before each event, unless approved by the Event Director. QUADMASTERS reserves the right to randomly call roll and any participant not present at the rider' s meeting may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including disqualification from the event(s).

4. Pit Area:

A. The pit area may only be available for vehicle haulers. All haulers will be parked as near to the facility as possible. Please consult with a QUADMASTERS official before parking any vehicles and/or haulers.

B. The pit area should be free of trash, fluids, and/or any other materials that may damage the facility. Improper disposal of waste products may be grounds for disqualification and the participant will be responsible for all clean-up charges, penalties and fines.

5. General Information:

A. A course will be designed by the QUADMASTERS for all participants to complete. At the discretion of the QUADMASTERS, the course may be modified at any time in the interest of safety.

B. Each participant must be properly attired (see regulations) while in staging or challenge course area.

C. All Competition ATV' s must display the QUADMASTERS decal on both sides and the front of the ATV if requested by the event management.

D. QUADMASTERS reserves the right to disqualify, terminate or remove any rider or crew member from the competition or pit areas for non-compliance.

E. QUADMASTERS reserves the right to request that any designated series sponsor decals be placed on his/her competition ATV.

F. The QUADMASTERS assumes no responsibility at any time for the security of vehicles, participant personals and belongings, bags and/or their contents.

Registration Information:

  1. Registration will take place in advance through the online registration or fax to the QuadMasters Head office by the outlined deadline for advance registration, or onsite at the registration booth on Friday & Saturday evenings from 6 - 9 pm. Registration is on a first come first serve basis until classes are full.
  2. Fill in the online form or Print a copy of the Registration form and send a completed copy via online or fax to QUADMASTERS offices by 12:00 pm (Noon) on the Wednesday prior to the corresponding Event Weekend FAX: (330) 241-4976. Alternatively, you may bring the completed form with you to the registration booth onsite during designated registration times, but please note that registration is on first come basis until classes are filled.
  3. All QuadMasters participants must sign waiver forms onsite at registration at the designated times (6 - 9 pm) in order to compete or at the Pit Entrance to gain access to the Pit Area. Minors (17 & under) require the presence of a legal guardian or parent to co-sign the minor waiver form (No Exceptions).
  4. Wristbands will be issued for and worn by all participants for the duration of the Weekend' s Event upon signing the waiver form. (One (1) wristband will be issued per participant; the wristband must be worn on the participant' s arm).
